As of April 23, 2025, The Town of Stoughton operates a single stream recycling collection program. Recyclable materials will be collected WEEKLY. The recyclable materials collected are Mixed Paper/Cardboard and Commingled Glass, Plastic, and Metal Containers. Pizza boxes ARE recyclable (even with grease).

Recycling Center located at 100 Page Street is open every Saturday 8-4 for ALL Stoughton Residents with proof of residency.
They accept leaves/grass clippings, paper/cardboard, plastics, aluminum cans and white goods.

Visit MassDEP's Recycle Smart and Beyond The Bin pages to access tips and tools that will help with the recycling process. The Beyond the Bin page allows you to enter an item that may not go into curbside recycling or trash and find a location near you to dispose of it.

We have partnered with Recycle Coach. They have an app you can download to your cell phone. This app has many features for example, if you create an account it will send you reminders for your recycling days. You can also schedule and pay for bulky item pickups on the app. Visit Recycle Coach for more information.
