The Stoughton Public Library hosts a wide variety of speakers, entertainers, teachers, and craftspeople for our patrons. Whether it's a speaker from the New England Historical and Genealogical Society giving a talk on "Genealogy for Beginners" or portrayers of Amelia Earhart, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Louisa May Alcott. Retired history professor Dr. Gary Hylander regularly gives dramatic lectures about key moments, people, and incidents in history. Film historian Frank Mandosa brings Tinseltown to life with themed series and his annual Oscar show.
Programs are held in our Community Room or Training Room. Assistance for the disabled is available upon request with adequate notice and light refreshments are often served. For a list of specific dates you may check our program calendar, Eventkeeper on this site, obtain flyers from the Library, check the local newspaper and cable station listings, or contact Josh Olshin, Reference / Adult Service Librarian at the Stoughton Public Library.
