Have you ever needed a particular tool or piece of equipment for a special DIY project, but you didn't want to buy it because you knew you would likely need it only once?
What about the time you spent hundreds of dollars on camping equipment only to use it twice before discovering that you aren't really into camping?
Thanks to a grant from MassDEP to Stoughton Public Works, Stoughton Public Library can help you out. Introducing our Library of Things. The Library of Things is an entire collection of non-traditional materials that Stoughton residents can borrow with their Stoughton Public Library card, just as they would a book or movie. From pickle ball sets (complete with net) to bicycle repair kits, you will be able to "try before you buy" or borrow and return a Thing whenever you need it.
Note: "Things" can only be borrowed by Stoughton residents with an OCLN library card in good standing.
