Stoughton residents,
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our infrastructure. We plan to pave an additional 27 streets this construction season. The duration of each completed street is roughly three weeks. A normal course of events is stated below:
1.) Roadway Dig Safe completed
2.) Contractor mobilization and cut driveways to match future final paving
3.) Milling of existing roadway
4.) Pave leveling course of pavement to prepare for final course
5.) Ensure all surface gas, water or drainage structures set to appropriate grade
6.) Final paving
7.) Pave driveway edges to meet new roadway elevation
8.) Striping (if necessary)
9.) Loam/seed and/or backfill any elevation changes on roadway edges
