Dear Stoughton Residents,
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our infrastructure. We plan to pave an additional 27 streets this construction season. The duration of each completed street is roughly three weeks. A normal course of events is stated below:
1.) Roadway Dig Safe completed
2.) Contractor mobilization and begin milling of existing roadway
3.) Level course of pavement to prepare for final course
4.) All surface gas, water or drainage structures set to appropriate grade
5.) Final paving
6.) Striping (if necessary)
7.) Loam/seed and/or backfill any elevation changes on roadway edges
