Rebecca received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2017 and her master’s in mental health counseling & school adjustment counseling from Bridgewater State University in 2022. Rebecca is a licensed school adjustment counselor and is a master level mental health counselor. She is also a member of ASCA, ACA, and MaMHCA. Rebecca has experience working in various settings such as Children and Family Services in the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) & the Child Community Based Acute Treatment Unit (CBAT), summer camps, private and public school settings, special education settings, and has over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents ages 5-18. Prior to becoming a mental health counselor Rebecca was a special education teacher for five years. Rebecca has an extensive background working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Rebecca joined Stoughton Youth Commission as an intern during the spring of 2022. Rebecca became a mental health counselor at Stoughton Youth Commission in January of 2023. Her areas of interest include children and adolescent mental health, parental/guardian support, interpersonal relationships, mindfulness, therapeutic play,  creativity counseling, life transitions, mindfulness and group counseling. Rebecca facilitates a client centered theoretical orientation throughout her practice. 

On her time off she enjoy’s traveling, exploring waterfalls, exercising, and cooking.
