Book Discussion Group

The Stoughton Public Library Book Discussion Group was founded by Dr. Robert White in 1997.  Monthly discussions are led by Cynthia Walsh and held on the third Tuesday afternoon of each month at 1:00pm. The books have been both fiction and non-fiction and have been by an eclectic lot: authors from Barbara Kingsolver and Jane Austen to James Carroll. Some choices have been One for the Money by Janet Evanovich, The Great Railway Bazaar: By Train Through Asia by Paul Theroux, and July's People by Nadine Gordimer - a truly eclectic selection. Discussions are always lively, even if it turns out that a member doesn't like a particular book!
