MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Department of Veterans’ Services is to advocate on the behalf of the Veterans of Stoughton and provide them with quality support services and to direct an emergency financial assistance program for those Veterans and their dependents that are in need.

Since 1861 the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services has supported a network of services and benefits to ensure that none of the more than 600,000 Veterans in Massachusetts today, who served their country on war time, nor their 1.2 million dependents will ever go hungry, be homeless or medically deprived.
