One of the best attributes of Stoughton is that "You Can Get There From Here". Stoughton is situated right in the middle of many major Federal & State Roads including, Route 95, Route 24, Route 138, Route 139 and Route 27 as well as being a short trip to Route 495 and Route 128.
From Stoughton you can get to Boston in ½ hour, Providence, R.I. in ½ hour, and Cape Cod's Bourne bridge in ½ hour (depending on the season). (MBTA) Stoughton is not only accessible by the commuter train (schedule) but has one of the oldest train stations in the New England area. Our train depot has been used as the backdrop in numerous movies including "Forensics in the White House" which was shot in June 2002 to air on the Discovery Channel. Thanks to the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce who worked as liaison with the film studio (Pinball Productions), our Town Clerk as coordinator and our friends who work at the station and The Historical Society.
