RECREATION WINTER PROGRAM
SKI AND SNOWBOARD LESSONS
The Recreation Department offers ski and snowboard lessons at the Blue Hills Ski Area yearly for children 8-15 years old. This program will be held on Thursdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are options for lessons with and without rentals included. For children renting equipment, the height, weight, and boot size of the child must be listed on the registration form. Children MUST wear a helmet during these lessons. Winter Offerings
Ceramics For Adults: Students will work on and complete several projects of their choice. Instruction as well as greenware/bisqueware, glazes, and firing are included in this class. Students are responsible ore their own brushes, tools, and electrical hardware.
Zumbatomics: This high energy dance/aerobic activity is perfect for children who love to dance. Children learn new routines
weekly culminating in a performance for family and friends the last week of class.
Zumba for Adults: Traditional Zumba with Jacqui Harrison instructing - Beginners Welcome. Get some exercise while learning the newest dance moves.
Ceramics & Crafts Mini Course: Veteran instructor Laurice Rubel teaches this four week session for children ages 9 - 12. Ceramic Dolphins,
and summer pewter braclets will be the focal point.
Norfolk DA Basketball Clinic: The Norfolk County DA/Stoughton Recreation Department Basketball Clinic is a non-profit clinic for children grades
3-8.
Volleyball: with Ken Gay "Skill and Play Night" to help layers of all ages and abilities learn and improve basic volleyball skils.
