Wed, March 12 6:30 pm Teddy Bear Storytime with Peggy Sewcyk reading "Dr. DeSoto Goes to Africa" and other circus and elephant stories. Children's Room

Wed, March 19 7:00 pm "My Travels with the Ringling Brothers Circus." Slide-show presentation of personal experiences as Wardrobe Manager and Photographer for the Circus by Tom Fitzgerald, and historical DVD presentation of The Ringling Brothers, Kings of the Circus. Enjoy the amazing story of how 5 brothers from Baraboo, Wisconsin created the greatest show on earth. Wales French Room

Thur, March 20 7:00 pm Book Discussion Group meeting at the Stoughton Public Library, with circus
snacks, led by Cynthia Walsh. Wales French Room

Wed, March 26 7:00 pmHobo Life During Two Depression: 1890’s & 1930’s” a first person accountwith stories, slides and music of the time, as well as authentic Hobo Stew, by Ed Hands, in the Wales French Room.

Tues, April 8 12:00 pm *Luncheon and Book Discussion at X&O Restaurant, 217 Washington St.,
Stoughton, MA, led by Miriam Johnson. Cost: $12 (Payment in advance)

Thurs, April 10 7:00 pm Animal Visit from ZooNewEngland with John Linehan, President & CEO, to give lecture/slide-show on the history of animal welfare issues. Come and visit with some animal friends. Wales French Room

Sat, April 19 2:00 pm *CirKestra, Circus Music for All. Circus clowns perform a combination of
gypsy, klezmer, jazz and circus music for all to enjoy. Wales French Room

Tues, April 22 2:00 pm *Childrens Program “Clown Workshop with Violet the Clown. Learn
how to become a clown, including training and makeup followed by a show. Children of all ages, in the Wales French Room at the Library. Wales French Room

Wed, April 23 7:00 pm My Life in the Circus enjoy personal stories, music and slide show of real
circus life by Peter Bufano. Wales French Room

Sat, April 26 12:00 pm *Children's Art Class with David Wall. Learn how to make Clown Collages for 4th and 5th graders.Wales French Room

Wed, April 30 9:30 am *Visit the Big Apple Circus at 1 City Hall Plaza in Boston, includes ticket
And bus. Bus pick up @ X&O Restaurant (Albert’s Plaza), 217 Washington St., Stoughton. At 9:30 am, Show at 11, Return bus at 3:00 pm Cost $20/per person for transportation and ticket.

*Reservations are required for attendance at these programs so that we can plan for food, transportation etc. All programs will be held in the Wales French Room at the Stoughton Public Library unless listed elsewhere, and all programs are free except where cost is listed.
