The Dorothy Woodward Gallery hosts local artists and art groups and showcases their
talents with new displays every month.
The Gallery is located on the top floor of the library. Visit the online gallery to view highlights
of past shows.
In addition, display cases located near the main desk and
outside the front entrance are available to showcase art or collections. To arrange for an exhibit or to reserve
the display cases, call Pat Basler, Library Director at 781-344-2711.
The Stoughton Public Library’s
Permanent Collection is home to the works of several local artists. The collection is located in the Wales
French room and throughout the Library.
Collections include the works of F. Mortimer Lamb, David Sullivan,
Thomas Esten, Charles Vermoskie, and Jack Wolfe. Visit the Permanent Collection
for a history of the artists and to view the artwork.
