Stoughton Town Meeting Home Stoughton has a representative Town Meeting form of town government.   Twenty one representatives are elected to three year terms from each of the eight Stoughton voting precincts.  The Annual Town Meeting normally opens on the 1st Monday in May and continues until business is completed.  Check with the Town Clerk's office for specific town meeting dates.  Further details regarding the Town Meeting are available in the Town Charter.
